I was lucky enough to find a beautiful black women's winter coat at Talbots. It was a full length dress coat, down almost to the ankles. I had it cut off to mid calf length and it's perfect. It was 1/2 price. A great buy. That was close to ten year ago. The coat is still in the closet, in the dry cleaning bag. I have it dry cleaned the beginning of every year, just in case. What about the women's winter coats that we wear everyday? You have to make the choice sometimes between fashion and function. Is it more important for you to be comfortable walking to the office on a cold windy day or is it more important for you to be fashionable? Is it possible to be both? The answer is yes.
